03/24/2000 Korn, Staind, Mindless Self Indulgence (Buffalo, NY @ Marine Midland Arena)

We had a pretty big group that headed down for this show, as Staind were starting to get big, and Korn was at the height of their powers on Issues. They called it the Sick and Twisted Tour, and I remember walking in half-way through Mindless Self Indulgence’s set, and being glad it wasn’t the whole thing, because I thought they were awful. Now granted, we were there for them as big fans, but Staind played an amazing show; obviously a bit too short for my liking. Aaron came out into the middle of the pit for Mudshovel. After waiting almost an hour, Korn came out and played a 22-song set, which made all of us happy. They ran through all the old favorites, naturally saving Blind for last. Not necessarily related to the show, but we got back home (to NT. thankfully) pretty late, and then woke up early the next morning to get to the Boulevard Mall to get tickets for the Toronto NIN show.
