03/30/2001 Econoline Crush (Toronto, ONT at The Steam Whistle Brewing House)

This was a live webcast (available at http://www.virtucast.com), and you could only win passes, you couldnt buy them. Since Mary is on the EC street team, she replied to an email asking for passes, and received 4! So we took Sara and Joe with us. We got right to the barrier, and patiently waited for the show to start… They ripped right into Surefire, with Trevor and crew looking and sounding as good as ever! As this was to promote Brand New History, half the set was all new material, which sounded great. They continued with Sinking, Trash, My Salvation, then got the crowd really back into it with Home. Arguably the oddest EC song, May I Go, was next, then the crowd pleaser You Dont Know What Its Like. They finished up with All That You Are, Sparkle and Shine, Make It Right, and then closed with Wicked. Tons of energy, they sounded great, Trevor was in fine liquid sex form, and we got autographs from Dan and Johnny afterwards… I snagged Trevor’s setlist! Definately worth the drive… the crowd was a lot of old people, and we hardly got touched all night. Wonderful!
