07/01/2000 RAINN Benefit: Hollowpoint, Stemm, Flush, Mile5 (Buffalo, NY @ Runwayz)

Another full-fledged local show, and as the title implies, this was a show to benefit RAINN: The Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network, so definitely a good cause. Sara Slean was the “headliner”, but played earlier than I got there, so I missed her. Not exactly my type of artist, but she did the piano arrangement of OLP’s “Julia” a couple of years prior, so I would have been interested to see her perform. A benefit CD was also released with the local artists from this show: Strength in Numbers – Lost Society
