Another trip to Fort Erie for the Friendship Festival, and we had a much better experience than we had for The Tea Party the year before, and we were on the beer side no less! We missed the opener-opener, but it was nice to see I Mother Earth again. They were touring in support of Blue Green Orange at this point, so this time Brian Byrne was in the groove, remembered all the words, and the band sounded fantastic. Byrne climbed the scaffolding holding up the stage at one point (no jumps, thankfully), and to top it off, they covered Tool’s 46&2!
As for Moist, they played almost the exact same set as the earlier Thursday in the Square show, but it didn’t much matter to me, they sounded as good as always.
Sara took some great pictures!
