I didn’t quite know what to expect walking into this one, other than the fact that it was the guitar player from Shinedown, playing acoustically. I had zero realization that Zach had been a blues guitar prodigy as a teenager, and that being from Memphis, country and the blues would feature prominently in the set. Not that I’m complaining in the least! The set was heavy on covers, a couple of Shinedown tunes, and a handful of originals, but fun throughout, and along with partner-in-crime Zack Mack, ZM kept the musicianship and the vocals at a high level.
