12/27/2009 Every Time I Die, Rhinoceros (Buffalo, NY @ Mohawk Place)

The 5th Annual Every Time I Die Xmas Show. What a fun night! Met Adam at his place, we watched the Sabres beat the Blues at Thirsty Buffalo before heading over to Mohawk to catch this later-start 9pm show. We pretty much hung in the back all night and chilled with Art, had a couple drinks and just enjoyed ourselves. Adam and I got brave and wandered down front for the hardcore openers, Rhinoceros, and promptly wandered right back hehe. Not that they were bad, quite the contrary, but we weren’t interested in moshing on this night. We had a nice chill evening and watched everything happen in front of us. ETID had a bunch of friends and I think family in attendance, and put on a whale of a show. Not bad considering that this was their second set of the night; they’d played earlier at 5pm as well because this late show sold out so quickly!
