RIP Dimebag Darrell

Dimebag Darrell, guitarist of Pantera and Damageplan fame, was gunned down ON-STAGE at a show in Columbus, OH last night.

And to think I came this close to seeing them Tuesday night in Buffalo. But its kinda scary when you think about the fact that this guy just started shooting into the crowd after shooting at the band. Now I’ve seen some crappy bands in my time, but not so bad that I wanted to shoot them! The article says this fool got up on stage, and said something about Pantera before shooting. Anyone that takes their music that seriously has major issues.
And everyone wonders why Tiff was glad to be out of Columbus… the city ain’t a nice place!

Must’ve been an absolutely vulgar display of power…

Someone said that the song they were playing at the time was a song called “Breathing New Life”. That’s rather ironic… (Hope I’m safe from the Fark irony nazi’s)

But I thought irony was a black fly in your chardonnay….

it appears that not only did damageplan play buffalo the night before the shooting, some of them played at the casino also…and the next day, dead…
