Review:
Max and co. are back with your typical Soulfly offering, only its the hardest and heaviest one to date. While Prophecy was a little more experimental, Dark Ages is a full-out assault on the senses. As a couple of reviews have said, this album is probably as close as Max is going to get to playing Sepultura-type songs with Soulfly, and that’s not necessarily bad. Some of the songs do tend to run together, but on the whole, the album is pretty good.
