The Short Way To Take The Long Road

Like most high profile albums usually do, the new Nickelback album, The Long Road, got leaked, and…. don’t let the single fool you. This CD is harder than Silver Side Up was, and save for the last two songs (which on first listen, didn’t really grab me), is pretty damn good. Someday is kind of an oddity, but it doesn’t really stick out as much as one would think. I’m kinda peeved that the 3 bonus tracks on the digipak are songs that have already been released (Saturday Night, Yanking Out My…, Learn The Hard Way) instead of the other songs that got recorded that didn’t make it on the album (Next Contestant, Slow Motion, etc). And everyone can say whatever they want about Nickelback (too radio, blah blah…) I don’t care… I like ’em. And they’re gonna be in Utica on November 1st 🙂
