The second installment from the post-Creed band, who kinda fell off the map for awhile. After some trouble with Wind-Up records, including them asking the rest of the band to get back together with Scott Stapp, they gained their release, signed with RCA, and released Blackbird. Usually the sophomore album from a band is suspect, but not this one. This album rocks harder than One Day Remains did, and I think overall is just a better album (not that ODR was bad by any means). The first two tracks, Ties That Bind and Come To Life set the tone for the rest of the album, and it gets better from there. I bought my copy used, so I didnt get the pack-in making of DVD, nor the UK or Best Buy bonus tracks (We Dont Care At All, The Damage Done, New Way To Live), but due to the wonder of the internet, I have them anyway. Definitely a must-have for rock fans.
