Review:
A supergroup of sorts, with Keith Buckley and Josh Newton from Every Time I Die, Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano from Anthrax, and Andy Hurley and Joe Trohman from Fall Out Boy; The Damned things sounds nothing like any of their groups, and more like a homage to 70’s rock like Thin Lizzy and the like. And Keith actually sings, and sings well!

Feeler was supposed to be the follow-up to Rubberneck, as it was recorded in 1997. Interscope rejected the songs, and we got nothing from the Toadies until 2001’s Hell Below/Stars Above. The Feeler tracks leaked onto the Internet, so we’ve all been enjoying them, but recently the band dusted off the songs and were going to release them properly. Except Interscope wouldn’t give their permission. (Record companies are dumb.) So what to do’ Re-record the songs in the present day, make a couple changes, and put it out as the album that “should have been”. Voila, Feeler 2010!
