Review:
Shadows Fall came back with another strong metal disc to follow up The War Within. More shredding, heavy riffs, and Brian Fair switching between the higher-style scream of his and the clean singing. It mixes well, and it just works. Moving to a major label (Atlantic) didn’t hurt them at all, as many had feared. The copy of Threads of Life that I picked up had ‘Stupid Crazy’ as a bonus track (Others had Fade Into Smoke, and/or a demo of Dread Uprising).
