Literally Incubus-lite (two younger brothers from two Incubus band members), which isn’t too shabby. Saw em open for OLP in Rochester.

Audioslave – 2005 – Out of Exile

By Eric | December 23, 2013 1:00 am

Artist: Audioslave
Title: Out of Exile
Label: Interscope / Epic
Released: May 24, 2005
Packaging: Jewel Case
Pack-in DVD
Release Type: Standard
Autographed

Tracklist:

#Your Time Has Come
#Out Of Exile
#Be Yourself
#Doesn’t Remind Me
#Drown Me Slowly
#Heaven’s Dead
#The Worm
#Man Or Animal
#Yesterday To Tomorrow
#Dandelion
##1 Zero
#The Curse

Review:

It took me forever to get this album after it was released, and it wasn’t as good as the first album. It always seemed too slow to me, and too generic, not enough of the Rage influence as I would have liked. I was always partial to Man Or Animal though.

Audioslave – 2002 – Audioslave

By Eric | December 23, 2013 1:00 am

Artist: Audioslave
Title: Audioslave
Label: Epic / Interscope
Released: Nov 19, 2002
Packaging: Jewel Case
Pack-in DVD
Release Type: Standard
Autographed

Tracklist:

#Cochise
#Show Me How To Live
#Gasoline
#What You Are
#Like A Stone
#Set It Off
#Shadow Of The Sun
#I Am The Highway
#Exploder
#Hypnotize
#Bring Em Back Alive
#Light My Way
#Getaway Car
#The Last Remaining Light

Review:

Hindsight is certainly 20-20. When I had the Civilian demos downloaded, I thought this album was the greatest thing ever. But when they released the album for real, they dropped the two best songs from the leaked demos (We Got The Whip and Turn To Gold), and replaced them with two so-so songs (What You Are and Hypnotize). For me, it was all downhill from there. I like this disc, but I don’t love it, and I think the collaboration could have/should have been much better.

Atomship – 2004 – The Crash of 47

By Eric | December 23, 2013 1:00 am

Artist: Atomship
Title: The Crash of 47
Label: Wind-Up
Released: May 4, 2004
Packaging: Jewel Case
Pack-in DVD
Release Type: Standard
Autographed

Tracklist:

#Day Of Daze
#Mothra
#Dragonfly
#Pencil Fight
#Withered
#Agent Orange
#Time For People
#Aliens
#Whitfield
#Friends
#Plastic People

Review:

Atomship is a band that didn’t receive much of a push, if any, from Wind-Up. It’s unfortunate, because this album is really a sleeper in that regard, as in, it’s much better than the hype that it didn’t get. The sound is dark, almost Tool-esque, but not nearly as epic. The singer has a unique tone, and the lyrical content seems to deal a lot with aliens and sci-fi type issues. I actually got to see this band open for Cold and Sevendust in Rochester awhile back, and their stage show was pretty good as well.

but still decent.

When you can get it for a buck, why not’ What I Didn’t Know was the single but the rest of it is pretty good. Generic pop-rock.
