The band you now know as Finger Eleven. There are hints of the band to come in here, but a couple of these songs sound the same to me. Not a bad first effort for a bunch of kids just out of high school.

Your typical alternative rock band in the vein of Fuel. I like this album a lot, its too bad their live show didnt stand up as well. Another one-and-done band.

Review:

To me, this is the greatest rap-rock/nu-metal album ever made. The perfect intersection of rapid-fire rapping, awesome riffs, slick production, and enough screaming to make it sound cool. It’s such a shame that these guys never made it bigger than they did. I’m glad I got to see them twice while they toured this album.

#Untied
#Rise And Blind
#Judas
#Flesh And Blood

#Dark Horizons

Review:

These guys did rap-rock the way it was supposed to be done. Every song is quality, and they even got B-Real from Cypress Hill to guest on a track (Splitt). I’m partial to their second album a bit more than this one, but most die-hard Reveille fans like this one better. No matter, it’s still a great album.

A collection of mainly rap covers. Its ok, not great, but the hidden live version of Cypress Hills How I Could Just Kill A Man, with B-Real and Sen Dog helping out is amazing.

I dont like this CD nearly as much as the other two, despite the popularity of Testify and Guerilla Radio. Its not bad, but it sounds like a rehashing of Evil Empire to me.

Made Rage a household name with Bulls on Parade. The sound was not nearly as polished as on self-titled, but I think that only served to make it sound even more pissed off.

Ra – 2005 – Duality

By Eric | December 23, 2013 1:00 am

Artist: Ra
Title: Duality
Label: Republic / Universal
Released: Jun 21, 2005
Packaging: Jewel Case
Pack-in DVD
Release Type: Standard
Autographed

Tracklist:

#Fear
#Fallen Angels
#Tell Me
#Take Me Away
#I Lost Everything Today
#Only One
#Superman
#Love
#Say You Will
#Got Me Going
#Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic
#Far Enough
#Undertaken
#Taken
#Swimming Upstream

Review:

Ras Duality is an interesting pseudo-concept record, where the album is divided in to two halves, Fear and Love. Having said that, Sahaj and crew have writted a cohesive album that is a great follow-up to From One. It doesnt rock quite as hard, but the songwriting matured, and with it, the sound of the band as a whole. Also included in the Love portion is a cover of The Polices Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic.
