The advance version of the album, and it’s actually mixed differently from the final pressing. This advance sounds muddier on the whole, not nearly as bright. It also came with just a front insert.

Review:
I saw Cold open up for Limp Bizkit (along with Staind and Incubus) and thought they were okay. I then heard Go Away somewhere, recalled that I had seen the band, and set out to find the album. I acutally found the advance at the House Of Guitars first, and then was surprised when I finally bought the real version and the sound had been remastered (for the better). Scooter’s singing was a bit more garbled on this album, and the sound was a bit darker. A solid first album.

Review:
This pretty much got me into the new American metal scene. I saw the video for Down Again, loved that tune, and then after downloading the rest of the album (and hearing that Down Again is easily the softest song on the album), I was totally won over and blown away. While Power Trip and Pure Hatred are the most fun songs live, I’m partial to The Dehumanizing Process and Overlooked on this one.

Another one that Dad bought first, and then once I got away from home I found I wanted it too. All blues covers, and they were all recorded “live”, as in the entire band played the songs at the same time, it wasn’t recorded in parts or sections.

I won this tape set back in middle school at a dance. It sat in my collection until Dad found out I had it. Then we listened to it in the car on trips all the time. The two discs have some great live versions of Clapton classics and other blues standards. After Dad “confiscated” my tapes I found this used and picked up the proper CD version.

Review:
The first CD after leaving Roadrunner is certainly a Resurrection for the band. Even after the brutality that was self-titled, this album is even better than that. The songs are all tight, there’s no filler, and since I pre-ordered, I got the limited edition with the autographed alternate cover and the pack-in DVD.
