Rochester Sno-core
By Eric | March 24, 2004 1:53 pm
Last night, due to the generosity of one of my co-workers, I got free tickets to see the Sno-Core tour at Water Street last night. Trapt headlined, and they were pretty decent, about as good as when I saw them open for Nickelback. Smile Empty Soul wasn’t any better than in Buffalo (which wasn’t good to begin with, and the meet-and-greet was lame too). Finger Eleven only got 30 minutes to play, and 5 of the 6 songs were from the new album (the one that wasn’t was Costume for a Gutterball, which I’ve *never* heard them do), and newcomers Strata weren’t bad at all for openers.
Tonight after work we’re going to a Tiff show… Edwin McCain at the Tralf. Should be a nice intimate show, not too many people, good tunes, good times, etc π

Hey I was looking for you at that show..figured you would be there.
FYI:
Turns out a good friend of mine who I had not seen in like 5 yrs b/c he lives in california is now the sound man for strata. The were really nice guys..I told them to remember me if they get famous…we had dinner together so they better! I actually stole some of their beer while they were on stage…shhh..don’t tell. I figured it made up for the fact I paid for a stupid ticket (when 2 seconds after I walked in my friend was like…oh I could have gotten you in for free if I knew you were coming…I was surpising him when I found out he was there). Anyhoo..the moral of the story is I looked for you but I never found you π

I’m sorry I didn’t see you! For the record, I thought Strata was pretty decent. I was over to the left side of the stage, near the bar for most of the night. I didn’t get there till about 7 however, just as Strata was starting. Good to hear from ya though!
Scott, copyright infringment my ass… I have my 37 pieces of flair, and THIS IS ME, EXPRESSING MYSELF. π

Oh, I see, tell me Eric, what do you think of someone who only does the bare minimum?
